IIn 2006, Marc started MakeGoodCoffee.com, a blog and information resource created to help people make better coffee at home. While working in sales, Marc traveled to coffee-growing countries, met coffee producers, and connected with coffee roasters throughout North America.

In 2014, Marc began roasting coffee wholesale for restaurants and coffee shops throughout San Diego. In 2020, he took the next big step and opened a coffee shop next to the roastery.

In 2026, Dani and Lee, owners of Ultreya Coffee & Tea, purchased Make Good Coffee as a sister company to Ultreya. Dani brings 20 years of experience in the coffee industry, having worked as a barista, manager, owner, and roaster. Lee brings four years of coffee and management experience.

Our passion for coffee—and our commitment to sharing that passion with our wholesale partners—drives us to continually pursue excellence. We purchase coffee seasonally, build relationships with producers, and value every hand involved in bringing coffee from the farm to your cup.

We believe great coffee is about more than what’s in the bag. It’s about relationships, quality, consistency, and helping you serve a product you can be proud of. When you succeed, we succeed.
