In 2006, Marc started MakeGoodCoffee.com, a blog and information resource to help people make better coffee for themselves at home. Marc was vacationing in coffee growing countries and meeting coffee roasters around North America as he worked a sales job. In 2014, Marc began wholesale roasting for San Diego restaurants and coffee shops. In 2020, Marc took the next big step and opened a coffee shop next to the roastery.

In 2024, Lilly brought her coffee expertise, managerial skills, and sharp wit (the sharpest) to the Make Good Coffee Co. team, becoming the cafe manager and maestra.

We have been supplying Hancock St. with fresh roast coffee and amazing espresso drinks since 2020.
